I cannot even begin to imagine how you are feeling or what you are going through right now. Please know that my heart goes out to you and your family...you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May the LORD wrap you in his warm embrace, lend you his strength and guide you with his light as you go through this most difficult time.

Trese Rawlinson Mashburn
Class of 87Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31055712.post-89037311884416118012006-10-24T08:30:00.000-05:002006-10-24T08:30:00.000-05:00Brad,

He went in for knee replacement and had a blood clot that went to his lungs or brain. (He was never in good enough shape for them to do any tests to figure out exactly where the clot was.)
That was the most difficult time of my life. I was a Daddy's Girl and it really hurts not having him around. My mother still has his message on their answering machine. Sometimes when I know that she is not home, I will call just to hear his voice.
I am comforted to know that he is in Heaven and I can hear him saying, "It's going to be okay. I will see you again."
Everyone tells me the pain gets better, but I don't know if I will ever get over the loss of my Daddy.
Thanks for the encouragement in your posts.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
